If you place a fuel filter before the engine and it clogs from one tank having contaminated fuel, you can not feed clean fuel from other tank to engine. Better to place a fuel filter at each tank exit so any contaminates will be caught before they enter fuel system and clean fuel can still feed to engine from remaining tank.

The 2 filter system is more critical on my low wing Pulsar XP which requires pumping to bring fuel from wing tanks. With gravity feed high wing operating on Both, you still have a bad situation if the single filter on engine clogs.

My Zenith is about 75% complete; doing 912 engine hookups now.

If you come by Big Bear, let me know and I'll buy lunch.
