Building and Flying Info / Your Profession / Other Background Info: Licensed charterboat captain for 40 years. Got Sport Pilot Lic in July 2007. 750 hours to date. 450 in my 1946 Taylorcraft BC12-D. The plans are to get an amphibious plane. Love flying-love the water.Looking forward to learning more about aviation. 601 with Jabiru 3300 will be a great step in that direction! I like all the comments by members! Thanks!UPDATE Nov 7, 2014-I now have 280 trouble free flying hours with my Zodiac and this is a LOT of economical FUN! Those of you that are building, your day will come and you to will be flying. Keep the dream alive by getting to your local airport and finding someone to fly with. This can be done in any aircraft but preferably one like you are building. This flying stuff is COOL!
