Hi Richard, Nice to see another local guy building a 750. I have been buying and storing parts for awhile. I have enough to start assembly soon.
I have all the parts to put the fuselage together, Wing spar webs factory cut and drilled.
A few years ago i bought a O-235 to put on a piper colt project that never happened. Been hanging onto it for the ch750 stol. Now think I will go with something lighter, since It will be light sport plane. The heavy aircraft engine would be fine for the 1440# version.
I listed it back on the short wing piper club classifieds. Phils cylinders outside dayton rebuilt the cylinders. The bottom end should be inspected but no damage in logs.
Last year I traded and got another set of plans and serial number for the ch750 stol. and might build two of these as i go. That might change once i get into it tho.
I am just outside Maysville Ky. Have a hangar at Fleming -Mason airport to store parts in and final assembly. If you are ever down this way ,stop in and visit.
