Building and Flying Info / Your Profession / Other Background Info
I love flying my 701! Dave Smith, a talented builder sold me his aircraft. I fly it up here in Bellingham Washington, and I often fly it out to the San Juan islands from it's base at Skagit airport. My other airplane is a 757 that I fly for United, mostly to the Hawaiian islands, so you could say I am an island flyer! I am always tinkering and upgrading my airplane and I look forward to learning from the builders and fliers on this forum.
Charles, Great pics and a good looking 701. The nice thing about the 701 is the low and slow photo platform, while your 757 is a good platform, the low and slow is another story.
Question: The cowl on your 701 looks especially long, what engine does it have in it?

CHARLES,
Thanks for the reply and the answer to the cowl question.
The profile pic was takes in the navigator seat of the EAA's ALUMINUM OVERCAST B17, in a flight out of Lewis-Lockport airport.
I live in the flat land of the mid-west so we don't get the scenery that you do so again I really appreciated your photos.
