Retired but working part-time as an A&P at the local airport. The rudder and riveting tools arrived but must complete the work bench before any official work begins.

    Hi Stan and Nancy, glad to here about your progress. I think you will like your Beemer as much as I like mine. I am happy with the finished 701, just waiting on the DAR to come out and give me airworthy certificate so I can start flying off my 40 hours. Going to airport later today with my sister to measure for seats she is going to make for me.

    Stan, I used the corvair engine in my 750 and my neighbor is using the 914 rotax. I would look into the new Lycoming 233 light weight version of the 235. My plane is almost finished, just need too install the wings and get inspection.
