    What do you mean by "with no roots" in your comment?
    I have been thinking of adding extra fuel to my 801. What do you think of tip tanks that are basically an extension of the wing by 1/2 of a bay?
    I am concerned about stability effects of tip tanks. Did adding end plates to your horizontal stab help stability?
