Just a comment on your painting your mdf worktable. I see no ill effects on the alum. if you paint. I cover mine with cardboard.. I'm wondering it it might be easier to merely cover your project with plastic during rainy times.
I'm also scatch building and it takes time. one thing I would reccomend is to buy the sides bottom and top or rear fuselage. I made mine and would have been better, cheaper and easier if i had bought them from Zenith.
Preparing to start an addition to the house not directly related to building the 750. It's required by the boss before I can start the 750. I will need to do wiring and HVAC on top of everything ese so wish me luck! I am dying to get started on the 750.
Hey, I'm working nights out of state at a refinery for a little bit...I don't know what a basket case corvair engine is worth but if it's out of my range, you could probably have no trouble selling it. I'm not planning to build anything but wouldn't mind having one to build later, trying to finish my 750 at the moment...Just let me know what you want for it. Rusty
