    Yes, I was contacted by mr.dgordon@gmail. It seems pretty fishy to me so I ignored it. It's a sad commentary on where we are now that I pretty much ignore anything from someone I don't recognize.

    It's a shame that we have to feel reluctant to be nice to other people, but there are al too of scams out there. Fortunately, most of them are trying to get you to give them something (money or personal information) and it doesn't seem that you have done so.
