    Hi Tony,

Thanks for your reply and good luck with the build. I'd been watching the LAA magazine for a while wondering when the first 750 would appear on the list. I'm hoping to retire for the second time at the end of this year and may start another aircraft project. The 750 is top of the list of potential candidates. I haven't flown in one though, just sat in one at sun 'n fun. I'm curious about how the STOL performance compares to the 701, and wonder what the best engine/prop combination would be.

I'll be interested to know how your build goes, if there are any mistakes on the plans and do all the match drilled holes actually match up. I did see a comment on the website about a mistake in the homebuilders help dvd a while back.

Anyway, thanks again and happy building.

    Shay.

    Hi Tony,

I finished the rudder kit a little while ago, I'm now waiting for the next stage to work on. I've been obliged to initially go with part-kits (tailplane and slats&flaperons kits are on their way), partly for financial reason but also because I really don't have much workspace at present. When I get these assembled, I'll move onto the wings, but having been hit by the cost of shipping on the part-kits I've realised it's going to be more cost-effective to get everything else in one hit next year. Fortunately I've connected with a Pietenpol builder here in Chesham who has rented a barn on a farm close by, so later on I will be able to share that space with him.

Gary suggested I should see if I can visit you, as an experienced 750 builder, would that be possible some time please? I don't wish to impose, but it would certainly be interesting.

    Thanks and Best Wishes,

    Lindsay
