Just to let you know we are working on a community airfield in the rain forest at a town called Maase - pronounced Maa-say (I believe like your name) not far from Tafo in Ghana, West Africa. The strip is about 300m (1000ft) long and you cannot afford an EFATO or you will end up in a 150ft tall Mahogany tree - oh and the approach is wicked - no room for errors...!!!
I will try to get some photos of the site and post - perhaps you would like to visit and be the first Masse to land at Maase!! I wonder if the names are linked?
