Building and Flying Info / Your Profession / Other Background Info
Considering building a CH750 or Cruzer from a kit. Looking for someone in Oregon with either. I'd just like to check out the aircraft. I visited the factory in Mexico 6 years ago and built a 601 tail, but my preferences have changed and it has been a long time since I have seen a Zenith in person.
I am a Coast Guard MH-65D helicopter search and rescue pilot and serve as my unit's aviation engineering officer and an instructor.
PPL/CPL/CFII, Single Engine Land and Rotorcraft. I also fly sUAS, paraglides, and paramotors.
Regarding my frequency of flight, I admit negligence in the last year: because of other things, less than 10 hours. I've not flown to North Bend yet, but maybe sometime in 2016. Sam Scavera, who lives in North Bend, is a friend, Zenith member and 750 builder. I'm in the Bend phone book and invite you to call for more info.
I am in the phonebook. Give me a call. Am usually around the phone from noon-1:30 and 7pm. The fuselage is sitting on the gear and the motor is hung, but most everything is open enough that you can get a pretty good idea of what it is going to take to complete the plane.

Welcome to the fold, Zachary. I'm a Bulldog alumni (NBHS class of 59) and CH750 veteran. You are in for a very rewarding experience. Good Luck!
