Building and Flying Info / Your Profession / Other Background Info: Retired Electrician. I was an A&E mechanic in the Air Force. I have been working on airplanes for nearly 30 years. I have helped restore a number of aircraft and also helped to build a Glastar prior to building my Zodiac 601 XL. I started building in November 2004 and finished the project in May of 2008. It was signed off by the FAA on May 5, 2008. My first flight was made on May 19, 2008, I will say it went well, totally exciting and wonderful Great little airplane, I now have 345 hrs.flown. It is a 601 XLB.
