Building and Flying Info / Your Profession / Other Background Info
Self employed transportation company. I have owned a C172 since 1995. I have owned cubs and champs in the past as well. 2500+ hrs 500+ tailwheel CFI land/sea. Plan to put 750 on amphibs. Update: Inspected 08/25/13 40hrs flown off 9/5/13
Over 50 hrs. TTSN 9/9/13
750 hours build time in 7 months. Still needs to be painted. 75 hours on plane now 12/23/13 . Changed 2 blade sensenich prop for 68" 3 bladed warp drive ground adjustable. Nice combination with 0200. Better glide power off as well.
I live in Severn and had the same problem on both of my wings, which Caleb said is not normal. If you have at least one wing complete, I would like to see it if possible. The problem is with the root skin installation on my CH750 kit.
I saw your reply to my VIRB question. I saw the video you posted. very impressive.
Did you buy the "aviator package" or did you buy the Virb Elilte and add the headset jack yourself?
I have decided to go with the VIRB but I think that $450 for the "aviation package" seems a bit steep. I compared what the package includes and have decided to get the Virb Elite, the aviation headset jack and the larger SD card all a la carte. I'm not as concerned about the prop filter at this time because I want it mainly to record the panel during my phase I tests. Through Amazon those three items totalled about $320.00. Basically it comes down to ~$130.00 for the prop filter
I know the Elite includes altimeter and heading and I wonder if your video displayed that information because it was the aviator package or if it displayed it simply because it's the Elite.
