    ROTAX 912 80 hp is good for 2000 hrs .  Not the official TBO but there 2 of them removed from flying school Katanas in my buddy's shop with 2500 hrs each and no repairs in the certified log books. The plans I have may not be suitable for your gear, all the measurements would be different, they are for a CH701 / CH750 setup. Do you have a spring main gear? Your picture looks like bungee style gear leg. Do you need wheel penetration type skis or straight skis? Grass or pavement. Your airspeed will be around 95 - 100 mph cruise. Engine cruise rpm is 5200 - 5400. Fuel consumption 15 litre/hr.
