The arbor press had nothing to with assembling the vertical stabilizer, it was just bolted to the table and I didn't feel like moving it at that time.  I originally got the press to remove the wrist pins from the Corvair engine core, but they are pressed in way too tight for that.  You need an industrial hydraulic press to remove those.  I was able to use it to remove the oil filler neck from the oil case.
