- Got my PPL on my 18th birthday but a flying career never panned out. I've had the sickness for the last 22 years flying Skyhawks, various ultralights, and paragiders/paramotors. I did build a primary ultralight glider from CAD drawings with aluminum tubing and fabric construction, google "Brady's Goat Glider". My youngest son has the flying bug as well and we are seriously seeking a high school build project to keep him out of trouble. He is looking at the 701 or CH 650,
