Ernest,

Hope all is well with you and that you are still flying.

I finally bought a 701 in September and am enjoying getting the feel of it.By far the best plane for my kind of flying.

Drop me a line when you have time.I accidentally cleared your email address so I looked you up here.

Thanks for writing. I will look forward to meeting you. My plane is at Triple W (5W5). I flew a Kolb before this and it was very draggy also. I don't think I would have problem with this plane, but it would be best to get a few in flight tips.

Ernest,
I wouldn't worry too much about the uneven drain of the tanks. This is common, and when one tank reaches a certain point the other will begin to pick up the slack.
It is good to see a 701 so close to me. I am just finishing mine and am waiting on an airworthiness. I would like to get a little stick time in a 701 before I take mine up for the first time. Would you be interested in taking me up sometime soon. Maybe an hour would be sufficient. I would gladly compensate you and your aircraft.
Please call or write. My email is vanncovi@yahoo.com and my phone is 919-612-2635. Thanks, Vann Covington, Holly Springs, NC
