Hello All.
I am happy to report that VH-KMI flew for the first time yesterday. The flight was conducted from Goolwa South Australia and lasted 40 minutes. There are some minor issues that are to be expected but I was generally pleased with the handling of the aircraft.
Still hasn't sunk in yet.
Regards,
John

Hi John,
Congratulations!..interested in how the nose art was put on, painted or vinyl etc?
Looking good John!
You may find the engine cowling needs the duct just below the spinner blocked off. I believe leaving it open will reduce the amount of air entering the top and through the cylinders. This air is critical for efective engine cooling. Have a read of the Jabiru engine installation manual and it will become clear.
Yes i am asking that one I to have the hinge-less ones too, I will let you know the answer
We chasing the kits asap
thanks
Allan
Welcome to the group

The other day you requested help with fitting the cooling ducts on your Jabiru. You have the same cowling I have. I also find the duct is a tight fit on the passenger's side especially since I replaced the motor mount rubbers with firmer ones. I am not happy with the fit on my plane at this time or I would send you some pictures like you requested. Just letting you know I am not ignoring you - I just don't seem to have much to offer right now.
Steve
Do you know john Hall building an XL south of you??
