750 STOL scratch builder's aluminum takeoff spreadsheet
Hello folks,
I have found a supplier in Surrey, B.C. willing to help source the aluminum. Metal Mart in Port Kells may be a key ally in the hunt for sheet goods. For contact info, feel free to email me here.
I don't know if it has already been done before but I am compiling a spreadsheet takeoff of all the aluminum (and steel) required for the construction of the 750 STOL. I can't guarantee its accuracy other than to say I will be ordering from this.
I am also using a cutsheet optimizer program called MaxCut (no promotional connection) to help layout the cuts and best plan the number of sheets to be ordered.
