Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
Well, sad to see it go, but I've decided to sell my 750 STOL. Started flying last year. Now has 45 hours TTAF. Lycoming O-235 engine (115 hp) with approx. 630 hours on it (2400 TBO). All comps are in the 70's, burns no oil to speak of, has a Casper Labs oil filter adapter and SkyTec Starter. Still flying it regularly now so hours will increase. Has Dynon EFIS and MGL EMS (all engine parameters are monitored), KX-155 Nav/Com, Garmin Aera 500 GPS, power panel, long range tanks. LED lights, dual sticks.
Fuselage interior is completely corrosion protected and it has the float mounting kit already installed. Flies beautifully. Cruises at about 85 mph burning 5.1 gal/hr when leaned out on either AvGas or MoGas so it's pretty cheap to run. SOLO take-off's are around 150 feet!
The wife isn't crazy about flying, so I find I'm up there by myself 95% of the time, so I'm looking at building a single seater. You can contact me at "taiser@shaw.ca" for more info or PM me here!
I'm asking $58,000.00 Canadian.
There are tons of photos on my profile you can check out, but here are a few....

Mark,
My wife also has little interest in flying, so, I found a flying buddy. He has little to say, but won't get out of the airplane.

Mark...thanks for all the posting regarding your build over the years. What are you considering for your next project?
I hope you stick around the forum Mark....you've always offered great input on discussions!
Has the aircraft been sold?
Quick update, The "Silver BB" has been sold!
:(
Mark,
Yes, please advise as to your next project!
I started building a Hummel H5 and I'm toying with putting a turbine on it or maybe an 80 hp rotax since I'm not crazy about the VW's but we'll see!
I started a thread on the Homebuiltairplane forums but I've had to shelve it since we're selling our house and moving so I've been busy renovating the new house so it meets the wife's standards.
Bonus the new place has a decent size garage although not as big as the one I have now but there is no insulation or heater in it yet, so I'll be busy getting that into shape as well BUT big bonus I got "carte blanche" to run wires and outfit exactly the way I want. I hope to get back into the H5 build by the spring. The H5 should keep the flying/building bug at bay for now and I hope to build an 801 when I retire!
The BB is being picked up in a couple of weeks and I'll be sad to see it go... :(
I'll let you guys know when the H5 build gets back into full swing!
Cheers
Mark
