Hey fellow Builders & Fliers,

Who all has a Viking 130....?  Which airframe...?  Where are you based...?

I am installing a Viking 130 as part of a rebuild of my Zodiac.  I'm based at Bourland Field, which is southwest of Ft Worth, Texas.

I have a Viking 130 that is not yet hung on my 601xlb project. Will start to install it very soon. I am in Blakely, Ga. and watching your progress. How did you vent your mini header tank?

Hi Patrick;

sorry; not using a Viking nor a 601, but just wanted to say that I’m up in NRH building a Cruzer.

Always good to to find other local builders.

Hi Patrick,  Have the earlier Viking 110. Should have the engine running in Feb. I just got my ECU upgraded with new software by Jan. Also adding the reinforcement for alternator pivot bolt and 5/8"ID oil inlet hose. I realize that none of these mods apply to the 130.

Interested in the 110 for my CH701....not much info on the Viking website.....what is installed weight....price...etc ?

email Samantha@vikingaircraftengines.com

She can probably answer all those questions in 1 email, assuming she still works there.

My 750 cruzer is in the finishing stage.  I think that means it is only 10% complete.  I have a Viking 130 installed, but I have not yet wired anything.  It is still nice to look at!

I've got a Viking 110 in my 601 XLB with about 40 hobbs hours on it and could not be happier with it.

I added a shared spreadsheet for Engine Experience etc.

Please update it with your Viking Experience also. Thanks. Link provided below.

I will be keeping an eye on this one. I plan to purchase the viking once I pay off the cost of getting my Private Pilot cert.

Patrick, I am in Central Texas probably 2 hours from you. I might visit you sometime to check out your setup, if that's cool? I visit my sister in Murphy Texas frequently. My brother-in-law is cleaning up my 1966 Chevy Corvair, but no I decided not to go Corvair...

I am building a Cruzer and have the Viking 130 hung, plumbed, and wired.  I have started it a few times.  Should be flying this summer.  I'm building in Garfield, Arkansas and will base in Rogers, AR (KROG).  My build log is at http://www.mykitlog.com/sbray72732
