The mini header tank has 2 threaded ports on the top for fuel from each tank. I know of one person who has used one of those ports for venting and placed a T fitting in the other to run both tanks into it. Has anyone tried anything different? I’m considering drilling and taping another hole to use as a vent back to the tanks.

I just bought one for my 601 HDS. What was the outcome of venting each tank to the mini tank?

This is what I did, a tee on the incoming lines and a tee on the vent lines.

I vented back to the tanks.

Works well, I'm still getting 80 liters per hour flow rate using 5/16 lines.

I was debating going to 3/8 lines but not necessary.

Where did you vent to on the tank? My tanks have a tube going from near the gas cap through the bottom of the wing
