That was probably my dad, try Martin Hammett He and I are building the 750, but mostly Dad's working on the plane as I'm off working a lot. Thanks for the comment Safe Flying Marty.
Bob - Good to hear from you. I did not know how to contact you. The 701 is doing fine just awaiting a new throttle control from Spruce. I did not like the friction type with the 912 ULS I have installed. Are you flying much? Where are you located (airport)? - Chris
Hello Robert, i'm kind of a neighbor here in Meridian, MS. I have an 801 quick build kit and even though it is relatively idiot proof it's not Phillip proof. It would be helpful if you could allow a visit, at your convenience, from a couple of rednecks to see your plane and ask a few questions.
thanks, phillip
Robert --- I like the rudder paint. Looks good. Sorry, you can't make to Houma on the 17th. I'm almost finish my forty hours. When I'm finish we are going to have to fly together. --------- Your plane looks great. See ya when I see ya.
Chris
Hi Bob. I was checking out your photos and noticed that my plane is still your page ID photo. Here's how to change that... click on MY PLANE and when your page opens up, look under the photo where there are two items, "manage my page" and "photo". Click on "photo" and the next page that opens up hasthe ID photo near the top with a Browse option. That'll allow you to choose a picture of you or your plane for your page. Of course if you really just like my plane, that's okay too.
Just got back from a whole week of driving around New Mexico, hiking to cliff dwelling sites, wine tasting, riding an old steam train, touring Carlsbad Caverns, White Sands... the whole enchilada (literally). Has a great time but now it's back to reality. I only have 1.5 hours left in Phase 1 if the weather ever clears up.
I finished the forty hours today and I'm looking forward to fly-ins, airshows, and pancake breakfasts around the state. I also hope to visit some builders who are in neighboring states within reach. Rest assured, vigilance and continued tweaking are still on the agenda.
Bob, thanks for demo'ing your wife's plane. I'm sure she is proud to have you a constant reminder of the all important day and she should be proud of her airplane too. Thanks, it was great! Phillip
Hadn't received the attempted reply. How about Farmerville on Saturday... first fall EAA flyin is there. Dad and I are planning on flying there leaving Legros between first light and sunrise.
