Hi Jim, I am a first time builder, and i have close to 900 hrs on my 650 build. It is close to ready for maiden flight. It depends what avionics and options you put in as well. I have the dydnon skyview system, wheel pants, wing lockers, I carpeted the interior. Paint job alone took over 120 hrs.

    Hi Jim,
I saw your question about drill sizes in the main room. I tried to reply there but you had logged off. I am using #40 drill bit first, then I will use #30 to redrill to final size. The Homebuilthelp video on the rudder assembly is fantastic. He gives all the tricks.

The homebuilthelp website is http://homebuilthelp.com and the "metalworking 101 with rudder workshop" is the correct video. $29 but well worth it!
