Building and Flying Info / Your Profession / Other Background Info
Been a mechanic all my (working) life, lots of schooling in different aspects, starting in Auto Mechanics in high school. Army vet. (60's) Again, in mechanical fields. (small arms repair, field arty mech, et c.) Worked in textile shops, building equipment, gaining experience. More school; sheet metal work, welding, electrical.

Quick update. The runway is now closing from the 10th to the 17th of September.
Try to get some practice time in before you come back. I have found the STOL wing very hard to land in cross wind of over 10 MH. Find a 150 or 172 and do cross wind landings without flaps and do short emergency landings!!!
