Geologist, I believe I'm handy enough to start this project, however, scrounging the funds to build it may be difficult until my truck is paid off. Setting up a work shop and getting everything else taken care of first, before I start this project and new way of life.

    Jay,
it looks like you're planning on a radial?
what engine are you looking at?
  • Jay Parker

Brady; I'm planning on using the Rotec Radial R-2800, 110HP. I could probably also use the R-3600, 150HP as well on the CH-750, but I doubt there will be much I could do to make it fly any faster with Tundra tires and Cargo Pod if I should opt to go that route. I think the Tundra tires will be a must even if I don't fly much bush, because of the centralized propeller shaft which probably lower the propeller to the ground another 4 to 6 inches. If you have never seen the Rotec engine, here is their website for the R-2800 : http://www.rotecradialengines.com/0RotecR2800/R2800.htm
