Building and Flying Info / Your Profession / Other Background Info
I farm in southern Alberta, producing a variety of crops including spearmint, dill catnip, tarragon and of course the standard wheat, canola etc. in our area. My brothers and I owned and flew a Cessna 182 until we sold it in the mid 1980's. Now that I have a bit more time, I want to get back into flying. This time "low and slow".

Hi Lynn How is the building going?

    Hi Lynn
I try to get a couple of hours in every day, But sometimes it doesn't work out that way. I have the right wing completed working on the left I also completed the rear horizontal stabilizer, elevator and the rudder. I was a little discourgage when I found out that I would have to drill the rivets out to have them inspected by the MDR-A inspector. It seems to me in the States all you need is to doc your building time and have pictures of yourself building. Of all the web sights of american builders nothing has bin mentioned about inspection untill the last final construction.
I have extra gauges that I did not use for my instrument panel construction. If you are interest I will make a list of the gauges and get back to you. Have you decided what engine you are going to use?. I also have an extra nitrated corvair crankshaft. Do you belong to the flying club in Medicine Hat? I am thinking on joining. Your friend Al

    Hi Lynn,
Are things starting to cool down there about now?
I have ordered the Drawings DVD and should order the first kits before Christmas. Have you thought about what engine you are going to fit? I was thinking about the Rotax 912ULS or the new Superior (O-235?).
    Have a good week end.
    Regards
    Paul
