I used the 1/4 inch 4x4 angle iron. I welded it all on a stand and formed my hinges out of 1/2 steel plate. The brake is strong and should do almost all the bends I will need on the plane. It is not 8ft, I figured I would do the pieces that require more than 7ft bends another way. I post photos soon. I am still trying to figure out this site.
