Building and Flying Info / Your Profession / Other Background Info: I have always dreamed of flying since I can remember. Scratch built an ultralight 15 years ago before I had any experience flying. Started hangliding at quest air in Groveland Florida shortly after. Moved to colorado 10 yrs ago. Built an ultralight trike and flew out of Meadow lake airport. Purchased a phantom x1 ultralight and have about 100 hrs in it. I considered building a kitfox or cub but really like the the design and over all performance of the 701 much better. I have been a mechanic and fabricator for over 20 yrs and am very excited to build this aircraft. I have property I fly from near my house at 8740 ft MSL. Challenging at times.
