    Dave,
Thanks for replying and the invite to Oshkosh. I won't be attending this year, but I would like to meet you and visit your plane sometime. I'm moving toward attaching the wings, but need to do some work around the cabin first. I'll call this week to see if you'll be available for a visit soon. Thanks again, Jeff

Had FAA inspect my plane and he said the Matco brake was too loose.  The caliper adjustment screw bottoms out and stops way too short of adjustment.  Has anyone had any problem with the adjustments  like this?  From what I see the bushing is preventing any further movement?  Just read some of the problems having with the split rims!  Interesting.  I was given a list from FAA on some items to correct.  He suggested, and FAA requires, to have castle nuts on all moving parts such as flaperons, ailerons and links, elevators, rudder, control cables etc.  So I am replacing all of these.   He wrote me up on not wing to fuselage boot?  So I need to either make one or find one to fit from a C152 etc.  Should be flying next spring?

David, Call your local FAA Flight Service Station for a DAR. They often have checklists for what they want. They all seem to be different from what I hear. Your experience may vary. —Ted
