I have changed the mains on my 701 to 21 inches (Desser) - would like to change the nose wheel to match - how did you rebuild the nose fork to accept the larger tire. Any help here would be appreciated - pictures, advice what ever. I have the ability to make about anything or modify the original fork. Email madriver42 at gmail.com please.
Wasn't aware of an "extended fork" offered by Zenith. Fill me in - was thinking I would have to build my own. Used to fly right over Barber's Point ne' Kalaeloa on my way into Hickam / Honolulu. Anyway keep me updated on the fork issue - you probably have the same negative angle of attack that I have with the small golf cart tire in the front.
Flew KC 135s out of Kincheloe AFB 1966 to 1970. Then Rescue AFRES HC-130H,P,and Ns from 1970 until 1985. Was thrown out - over grade - of the Reserves and found a ride Managing and flying the Operational Support C-13A and B for the Michigan ANG until 1993. You won't believe it but then moved to Southern Air Transport and flew the L-382 until 1998. Finished out my paying flying career in 2002 flying B-747s for Atlas.BTW did I miss it or did you answer my question about the Zenith supplied nose wheel fork to fit a 21" tire.
