750 kit is finished and has a airworthryness certficate powered by a 164cu.in. 100hp corvair engine conversion. Have loged about 500 hrs. in GA aircraft. Im a retired machinist and live in Zionsville PA

    My Zenith CH-750 powered by a 164cu. in. corvair engine with 84 flight hrs. I crashed after take off. Spark plug threads were repaired on #1 cylinder with a 14 mm thread insert. The spark plug blew out with insert attached and OD threads were full of aluminum from head. Plane would not fly back to the airport with loss of power and I crashed into a creek bed.
