Hi Timothy, Yep I bought those. I was very sure I'd eat up the cost of the factory parts in making "test pieces". Also, I've found it difficult to make my brake perform well on anything thicker than .040". If you still have access to Jesse's brake you should be in good shape to make the bends. A few narrow practice pieces to get your setbacks setup for that brake and you should be good to go. Good luck!
I didn't notice the photo with 75F3 -6, -7, and -9 installed. Did you make these parts or buy them? This top channel trio seems complicated. Or do-overs are expensive since they are all made of 0.063. -7 seems to be the hardest part to make of the three.
thanks Clint
Looking really good Clint.
Thanks Michael, I have a long way to go with this build. Will be getting into some expensive parts soon, panel and engine.... I'm a few years away from affording an engine. Good news is I should be able to sit in it and make airplane noises this year!! Next project might be a scratch built ch640, need a bigger workshop first :) Hope your project is going well!!
nice work Clint, looking forward to seeing the finished aircraft. Do you think you will build another?
