I have a Rotect alternator on my Jabiru 3300a.  I am in need of a drive belt.  Does anyone know where to get these besides Rotec in Australia?

A quick check of Google has an article in kit planes where a “Napa 4L220” vee belt is mentioned. You might try one of those. I think Gates and a whole lot of others make a “4L220” vee belt. It should only be a few dollars, it’s an automotive part. I don’t think Rotec would use anything exotic.

Otherwise take the old belt and find an auto supply store with a helpful sales person and a ruler.

Can you find any serial number printed on the belt you have?

A 4L220 has a length of 22 inches and costs about $7.00.
