Just noticed that this release of Dynon's software says it now has support for EMS configuration for 4 cyl UL engines. Anyone tried this and is there any new info that you can now see via the EMS?
I'm going to install it this week and hoping that I can now be able to see MAP since I installed the MAP sensor during the build and have never used it!

I'll answer my own q...the update caused an error in the Dynon being unable to read the run time and Hobbs time. I had to revert back to 16.0.1 to get it back to normal. Dynon was very helpful in this process and will report the bug.
Was going to post a link to this in another forum, but it turns out that was you in the other forum LOL!
David, which Dynon EMS module are you using 220 or 221? Are you using the UL CANBUS input?
It's the EMS 220 and I'm using whatever harness was the norm 8 years ago when I built it. Maybe that is why it was buggy in my installation. Prior version works perfect so I'll stick with that till they work out the issues.
Do you know what benefit there is from running CANBUS thru the EMS 221 vs my set up?
No not yet, I am at that stage now and have the 221 EMS (recommended by Dynon for CANBUS), Dynon saying that the software is a Beta version, so I am hoping that it works! I think that the advantage of the CANBUS is that there are only 3 wires CAN Hi, CAN Lo and then a ground, no need for individual sensor wiring.
