Thanks Lee, I'm very excited about the 2200.I think It's a perfect fit for the Zenair STOL 701. I initialy ordered the 3300 but after attending the Jabiru school I decided that the larger engine would only add weight and use more fuel per hour. Performance would not out weigh those negatives.

    Hi Lee,

Chupa chups are an iconic Australian sweet, spherical in shape on a plastic stick.

    Cheers, Marty

Hi Lee, Yes I layed out and built the center console. I did get the idea from the SLSA
ch750 from AMD. I built a cardboard template and after it was what I wanted I then cut out the .032 sheet metal. It was pretty easy and sure opens up the panel space. I went in 5" then upt o the bottom of the panel. I also routed all my wires, fuel lines etc. thru there so they would be out of sight. Let me know if I can be more help, Jim

PS: I ordered the engine mount and baffles for the 0-200 from Zenith. The exhaust is for a 601 from Custom aircraft parts in Ca.

am using a whirlwind 72" prop for the 0 200, it is set at 14 degrees for now. we are having some engine problem now and not sure what the final setting will be.

Hi Lee.  I agree.  You will never know what unconditional love is until you have kids.  I think I will have the same love for my own airplane.  We are not far away from each other, maybe some day we will fly together.  Good luck

Thanks Lee, They say rubber fuel lines will last 5 years but I change them once a year on my Excalibur, I thought I would try aluminum fuel line this time. Kevin

Thanks Lee, I purchased the tool kit Zenith offered. The kit came with 150 of each size, 450 total. I purchased 50 more of the small (3/32) and the large clecos, and 100 more of the 1/8 mid size. I could have used 50 more of each. Later in my build I purchased 12 of the 3/16 clecos and really needed them. The wings have more than 1000 rivets, more than 500 on top and bottom each, that can use up a lot of clecos when you rivet the skin. Good luck, Randy

Thanks Lee,necessity is the mother of invention as they say. I hope to some day separate the containers and put a roof between them for a hanger.

Thanks Lee, one of our EAA 430 chapter members Dan Donavan who owns Allform Welding in Carlsburg, WA and I did the exhaust. His business card is on our chapter's web site. www.eaa430.org just click on a newsletter and scroll to the bottom.  He also did my engine mount.

I purchased the exhaust from Aircraft Exhaust Inc. I don't know the status of the company any more, the web site is:  http://www.aircraftexhaust.net/contact.html  but when you click on the "home Page you are directed to http://www.planexhaust.net/ . I don't know if Planexhaust still makes the exhaust specifically for the Zenith 750.
