Paul, I live in Magnolia off of 1488 about 2 miles east of Spur 149.  I've too have slowed down lately because of the heat - tends to take some of the fun away.  You can see my progress at www.mykitlog.com/sunmanav8.  We (me, you and Jeff) should plan a Saturday morning breakfast to sit and compare notes.  Let me know how your schedule looks.

    Talk to you soon,

    Sonny

Howdy Paul - things are moving along here in Louisville... haven't had a chance to do much with the engine yet.  I'm seriously considering popping the lid off and do a double-check of the rod bolt torques, plus I need to block the crank in order to torque the safety shaft.  Mounted the step tubes on the fuse today.  I love Bowman field - there are a whole bunch of Zenith builders/flyers there, several 750's and a bunch of 601's.  I'm a few hangars away from Jeff Garrett, who is one of Zenith's recommended upgrade guys for the 601 mods. He has 3 601's and a 650 in his hangar!

    Hi Paul

We hope your doing well and your health issues are getting figured out in your favor.

We are still very excited/interested in your project. Your pictures show a great level of care and attention to detail.  I would love to present it to my EAA club for completion and to use as a teaching tool for our young eagles now and in the future.

Please also let us know if their is any other way we can be of help to you and or your family.

Thanks for your considerations toward our group and know our prayers are with you and hope your health issues are improving.

    Tom
