The inspection was easy. The man from Pittsburgh FSDO was very nice and did a very thorough job. He helped where he could with the paperwork.
He did mention the letter from the NTSB and gave me a copy. He also noted in his psperwork that I have that copy.
I do not have the piano hinges.
In all he was here about two hours. I suspect that it would have been about half of that if we had limited our conversation, and we had not had several visitors show up during the inspection.
hi Richard my name is ron Zielke and am building a 750. I have a couple of questions, what did you do to your metal to prep it? How many coats did you end up installing? Now that you have been flying it , how's it standing up? You have probably answered these questions a hundred times. My biggest challenge is I'm 80 in reasonably good health, and the build has been really rewarding.
