Hello Group,

I just completed the 15 hr engine service specified by UL on my 350is. I noted an interference on the lower passenger side engine mount and the oil return from the breather. I have attached pictures. I ended up polishing off an edge to clear the line. Just something to check for.

Hello Gary, I did the exact same thing. That same line also ran right along the engine case at the clamp. I got a longer bolt and installed a washer under the clamp to make clearance.  Tom

Thanks for posting...now I'm going to have to take a peek on mine!  Dave

Thanks, I missed that at the 15hour inspection so I pulled the cowl today,
with 30 hours on my testing and it was also wearing a little on the aluminum
washer. I guess the good part is that the steel tube wasn't worn, only the
aluminum. Seems like the factory needs to make a small correction on that tube.
Thanks again -- I sure missed that.

Glad I could be of help.

FYI...checked mine a few days ago and have ample clearance 3/16" plus.  Engine is a Nov 2011 production
