I am trying to figure out the rivet hole placement for the diagonal L-angles on the side skins.

The diagonal that is between the horizontal tail frames is well specified. However the placement of the rivet lines of the diagonals forward of that is not well specified. The drawing on 6-B-3 just indicates a rough placement, but no real dimension or reference points.

Can anyone offer any suggestions on how the rivet line should be aligned?

Damon,

I only have my older 601XL drawings available to me, but are the vertical "L's" on the 650 fuselage side skins still 40 pitch?  No harm in not using the same pitch as the verticals they go with.

Good luck,

Dave

Yes, the plans still show 40 pitch for the L's on the side skins. Both vertical and diagonal.

What is vague in the drawing is the exact positioning of the diagonal L's. Maybe it does not matter

and I can run a rivet line from corner to corner, but I am not fully certain.
