I need a 912 dual ignition coil that works.

What are the symptoms?
A local just spent over 3 bills and 5 weeks, and it ended up being a loose ground wire.

#1 Cyl top plug began sooting up while #3 plug on same intake manifold was perfect color. #1 Bottom plug also sooted. All other plugs are perfect. Compression checks show all cyls are high comp so valves are good. Engine ran smoothly but I fly from mountainous area with no place for emergency landing, so I don't want to wait for engine to lose power. Changed spark plug wire to #1 top plug and no joy. Thought coil A1/2 might be bad so looking for spare.
