Anyone have attended or will be attending the High Sierra Fly In in Nevada?
We've been looking to attend a fly in event for a while. Several were cancelled last year and we couldn't find the time to do at trip to Airventure or the Zenith homecoming. However, a friend bought a ticket to the High Sierra Fly In and STOL drag races at Dead Cow Lake, 40 miles north of Reno, Nevada, but now he can't make it. It's mid October, the 14-17, so weather in Oregon is a bit hit or miss, but we're thinking we're going to give it a shot! Also, it's a lot closer than Wisconsin or Missouri. Curious if anyone else has gone and/or participated, or is thinking about it this year. Would be fun to meet up if you are!

I'm going. Not sure if I'm flying the 701 or riding with my neighbor in his big tire 172. Guess it depends on how much gear we load up.
