OK, that landing height controller is pretty darn slick. And for $500 including Lidar, it’s amazing, especially compared to what the original Radar Altimeters cost.

i bought a unit this am. im not associated with this company but thought this was way cool. its going in my sonex waiex. the owner who posted on the sonex site replied and offered the discount to the zenith folks too. also the vans site has some good postings on this unit , has been out for a few years and different earlier designs. interesting reading on the vans site. (vansairforce.com), discount code is LHC_1019 which is good till 10/15/2019. $85 off.
I’m currently building a zenith 750 cruzer.
