For those who work alone, this setup is very useful to trim the canopy. No vibration at all.

Looks great!

Yes,

I’m very proud of it. I blow it myself.

Daniel

That looks great!  Did you document your process to blow the canopy anywhere?  I have been interested in trying to make a canopy for my KR2S and have been considering giving it a try.  I would really like to hear about the process!

I encourage you to give it a try, it's very rewarding and well worth the cost. The cost of a Zenair canopy is around $ 2000 cad if I consider transport and shipping. You can make one for less than $ 1000.00 but what is most amazing is that you can then breed them for $ 100.00 each. Much less stressful when you make a mistake or crack one. If you are interested, I can send you all the technical details for the construction of your oven and the step by step for the blowing.

My email is medanielpelletier@videotron.ca    Contact me directly, I will send you my infos. I begin with a couple of photos of the oven building.

Could you possibly share your canopy info with me also. I am interested in blowing a canopy for my KR2 project. msbaenen@gmail.com

Thanks, Mark

Yes I do.

Hi Brad,

I decided to try the experience after reading a powerpoint presentation from Martin Poettcker who send me his PowerPoint who is unfortunately no longer online actually. I can send it to you if you want. I let you his page reference. http://www.zenith.aero/profile/MartinPoettcker?xg_source=activity
