For sale: my 2024 CH 750 Cruzer, more than half assembled with 344 logged hours. Complete kit plus finishing kit, $35,900. Fuselage, tail, gear, and flaperons done, sitting on its own gear.

Photos coming soon. I'm rearranging the garage this weekend so I can get good shots, and I'll add them to this thread.

Every build session was recorded as timelapse video and logged by hand with the date, the work performed, and the hours. 344 hours across 194 sessions. You can watch the workmanship rather than take my word for it, and the video archive and logs transfer with the sale. All of it is amateur-built work with no hired help, and the logs, photos, and video are the evidence you'll need to show the FAA that the major portion was amateur-built.

What's included:

  • Complete CH 750 Cruzer airframe kit, 2024 current generation, final-hole-size matched parts, with full drawings and manuals ($26,995 new today)
  • Finishing kit: landing gear, wheels, windshield, and everything to complete the aircraft ($9,950 new)
  • Nav / strobe / position LED lights ($1,139)
  • LED landing light kit, one ($1,250)
  • Factory swaged control cables ($1,000)
  • 4-point harness / seatbelt system ($334)
  • Tow bar ($110)
  • A large supply of A4 and A5 rivets and clecos, plus surplus fasteners from Aircraft Spruce ($priceless)
  • Complete timelapse video library of the build, transferred via private cloud share at sale
  • Daily build logs with hours, plus a reconciled spreadsheet of all 194 sessions

That is $40,778 in parts at Zenith's current order form prices, before the crating and freight you would pay on a new kit.

Build status:

  • Rudder: complete, built by me at Zenith's rudder workshop weekend at the factory (4/25/24)
  • Horizontal stabilizer and elevator: complete (finished 5/25/24)
  • Vertical fin: assembled
  • Fuselage: complete
  • Landing gear: complete, aircraft sitting on its own gear as of 5/25/25
  • Flight controls: torque tube, tunnel, brake cylinders, front steering, control rods, and center console rough-installed; prepped for cable connections. Factory swaged cables included and ready to install.
  • Flaperons: all four complete (finished 8/24/25)
  • Wing 1: approximately 75% complete. Ribs and rear spar riveted, bottom skin riveted, top skin drilled, deburred, and fitted, trailing edge prepped, flaperon arms mounted, internal rivets and wire channel in progress.
  • Wing 2: not started, parts inventoried and stored
  • Final assembly and rigging: not started

344 hours logged across 194 documented build sessions, against Zenith's estimate of roughly 400 hours to complete the airframe. Every one of those sessions is in the build log with a date, the work performed, and start and end times, and I can provide the full log as a spreadsheet.

Condition: Built and stored indoors in an enclosed garage, kept dry. No corrosion, no hangar rash, no shipping damage. Close-up photos of skins and rivet lines available, and the timelapse shows the metal's entire history, not just its current surface.

Corrosion protection was applied to the fuselage, landing gear fittings, and wing. The rudder and tail were built before I started using it and are untreated. I mostly used Cortec VpCI, with zinc chromate primer for a short stretch before switching, because zinc chromate is unpleasant to work with in a home shop.

Parts are no longer in factory packaging because I broke the kit down and inventoried it against Zenith's packing lists. Everything remaining is labeled and organized between garage shelving and storage, and I can provide the written inventory before you drive out.

Transfer with Zenith: Zenith has already approved the transfer. There's no fee. You request a change of ownership form from Zenith, and I'll work with you and them to move the drawings, kit serial number, and factory builder support into your name.

Reason for sale: My time has shifted to other priorities, namely a new business, and this kit deserves a builder who will finish it rather than letting it sit and take up space.

Price: $35,900. Replacement cost for these parts new from Zenith is $40,778 at current order form prices, plus crating and freight, before a single hour of assembly. You are getting roughly $5,000 off the raw parts, the freight savings, and 344 documented hours of build labor. Itemized replacement-cost breakdown available on request.

Location and pickup: St. Louis metro area (Illinois side). Pickup only, from my home. Buyer provides the trailer and handles loading, so plan for an enclosed trailer and a helper or two for the fuselage and wings. Easy drive from most of the Midwest, and about 2 hours from the Zenith factory in Mexico, MO if you want to pair pickup with a factory visit.

Video and photos: The complete timelapse archive covering every assembly, along with the full build photo library, conveys with the sale via a private cloud share. Happy to share footage of any specific assembly with serious inquiries.

Serious inquiries, send me a DM here. I'm happy to set up a call and walk through the logs, video, or any assembly before you drive out.
