Zenith CH200 rebuild

Hello 

For those familiar with Zenith CH-200.

I purchased a used CH200 with a hard landing/prop strike. I want to get the airplane back in the air and I have started studying the plans. The plans refer to the manual which I never received.

My my question is: How important is it for me to have this manual? Or are the drawings enough? My plan is to take apart the whole airplane section at a time, inspect it and put it back together; mainly because It has been sitting outside (delta air park) for 18 years. 

Any advice?
