I am trying to rivet the wing skeleton together and notice that the construction manual, section 75-WA-1 says to deburr and rivet the skeleton together.  However, section 75-WA-2 shows the skeleton as not being riveted yet?  Does it matter or is the alignment and squaring of the wing going to be thrown off by doing the riveting before I square things up for the wing skins?

It's been a while, I riveted the skeleton together as per the manual then leveled and checked for twist along the spar. Make sure you have a good level for this. Also it is important that your blocks don't move around. I used a torpedo level as once the nose skins are in place anything longer won't fit.Remember not to drill to final size any rib or spar that has a ajoining skin when the builders guide says to drill to final size. ( been there done that ) I enjoyed constructing the wings, have fun, Jim
Jim,
Do you mean don't drill to final size any rivet holes for skin? When do you do it?
Ed
No . Drill when the guide indicates to do so, just remember that there are outboard skins . Where the skins overlap you will want the holes left at 040 so you can cleco in place. Sorry for the confusion, Jim
Ed,

I'm working my way through the 750 wing kit and have found Jon's HBH Videos to be invaluable. The best feature is seeing the correct sequence so that you don't "build yourself into a corner". As a first time builder, I wouldn't have considered this project without these videos. ....and no, I'm no relation to Jon!

Enjoy the build,

Rich
Richard,
Thanks for the reminder about the videos, I've been told they are great, but haven't popped for them.
