Hello all. I inherited a ch701 that has a ea81 with Johnson re-drive. After doing so digging and checked found that this 701 is the first gen with the lower gross weight. This engine install is too heavy for this gen. I am selling the whole thing firewall forward less prop. It's single intake holly carb. Unknown are the times. I was told it was running but never finished. No cowl. I will ship. Asking 1500$ CAD

Hi Dave,

I will be interested to see if you get some responses on gross weight question. Having almost finished a 701 build the changes must have been subtle , or through experience it was found the gross weight could be raised.

Perry,

Yeah, looks like it's going now where so I'll be doing my own research. Just ordered the new up to date plans. I'll go though my set, the set and make notes that I will share :)
