Zenith supplied an Electroaire combination "mag" starter switch unit with my 701 kit.

This is because Rotax no longer wants you to use the traditional keyed left/right start type switch with their engines.

Anyone familiar with the installation?

Thomas I just completed my 912UL install in my 701, so I’m familiar with the ignition install in general.  I took delivery of the Zenith FWF kit around May and it did not have any ignition switches.  Although the Rotax install manual depicts two separate switches, I used the traditional keyed ignition/start switch from ACS.  It came with a diode jumper and good install instructions.  Works just fine, several engine starts to date and no problems. If you follow the install manual it will work.  Do use separate, shielded wires (I.e. Not a twisted pair) from the ignition modules to your individual switches.
