My mission has changed and I am in real need of some more speed, so I am putting my fully-polished 601Xlb taildragger up for sale.  It is a very well-built, well-proven (585 TT) and well-equipped plane, that was the cover and lead article of the summer 2012 issue of Contact! magazine. I recently put in a new 3L Corvair engine from Falcon machine, specifically set up for optional mogas use. The Grove gear makes it a very easy to land TD. I am a CFI and can do the transition training.  I would trade (±$) for an experimental with 140+ knot cruise speed, or would separate the engine and airframe to make a deal. Feb 2014 annual.
